I am at a complete loss for why this product has not allowed me to install the 64 bit for the OS, when I do have a 64 bit version of Windows Vista. The time we save is the biggest benefit of E-E to our team. I have attempted to reboot my PC in between installs, in between the attempts to uninstall the product, and I still have the same issues. Other than that message, there is no error message given.

If I attempt to reinstall the 32 bit version, I run into a generic error message from MS Office 2010 stating that the "MS Office 2010 Installation has failed".

When I attempt to reinstall the 64 bit version I receive the attached screenshot error. It completed and said that all of the files had been completely uninstalled.

I went onto Microsoft's website and ran the script that they have on their site to handle any files that were left behind in case of having an uninstall fail. After I have completed the successful uninstall for the 32 bit edition of MS Office 2010, I receive the attached error. Windows asks me if I am sure I want to run this script, I say "yes", and the install begins! After a few minutes, Office 2007 is installed with all my customizations, etc.I am attempting to reinstall Microsoft Office 2010 with the 64 bit edition on my PC, in which I had used the 32 bit trial edition, and I am receiving the attached error message when I attempt to install the 64 bit version of Microsoft Office. When I am clicking on the Setup folder in the CD it is saying that 'The 64 bit product may not be installed with Microsoft Office Click-to-Run. (Setup cannot install one of the required products for Microsoft Access Setup Metadata MUI (English) 2013. Here's the base text of the script I am using: Script runs, but Office is not installed.

I have setup a fresh machine with Windows 7 64-bit, joined it to my domain, and assisgned it to the appropriate security group for the O2k7 install to kick off via start up script.
